Trifolium is my underground cellar in Brda built in 2022. At first glance, it appears to be in a temple or a cave, but certainly in an intimate and meditative place.

Thanks to the rotating barrel processing system and with the help of gravity, the cellar can be used entirely without electricity and without water supplied by the aqueduct.

Around the cellar, there are drainage water collection tanks and a small spring that feed the taps by gravity.

The oculus in the central dome allows sunlight to enter the rooms used for processing, while the warehouse remains deliberately dark.
The central opening is not only a source of light but also of rain as the clover-shaped structure resembles a modern-day Pantheon.

Kristian: “You have a beautiful spontaneous white clover in your vineyard. Continue to preserve it!”
